The 12-volume New Century Encyclopedia is the first encyclopedia published by a Hong Kong company - Ling Kee Publishing Co., Ltd. It is based on the simplified version of the Encyclopedia of China. The contents of the New Century Encyclopedia are compiled by more than 20,000 experts over a period of ten years.
